Washington, DC, October 31, 2016 – CBS RADIO’s WPGC 95.5 is proud to announce the 17th annual “For Sisters Only” (FSO) expo, Saturday, November 5th at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. FSO is one of the largest expo’s for women of color in the Washington, DC area reaching thousands.  Produced and hosted by WPGC 95.5, the annual FSO expo is a consortium of seminars, healthcare screenings, panel discussions, inspirational forums, and LIVE entertainment.  Over 100 vendors and small businesses promote their services and engage listeners throughout the day. This year’s performers include: Tank, Ro James, Mario, Lloyd, Jidena, BJ Chicago Kid, and actor/recording artist Rotimi from the hit show Power (Starz).

 The expo hours are 11am to 7pm.  The Walter E. Washington Convention Center is located at 801 Mt. Vernon Place in Northwest, Washington, DC.

The expo was launched to focus on the needs, issues and lifestyle of women of color. WPGC 95.5 reaches nearly 1 million listeners each week and 60% are women of color. WPGC 95.5 prides itself on creating a personal identity among its listeners.  FSO is one of the ways WPGC 95.5 connects with its listeners and the local community.
